House System

Once a learner has been accepted into the school, they are allocated a house.

We have three houses:

• Mars (Red)
• Mercury (Green)
• Neptune (Blue)

Every year, we hold Interhouse Events, where learners participate in sporting events to support their house. Some of the events include:

• Interhouse Gala
• Interhouse Athletics
• Interhouse Cross Country
• Interhouse Cricket
• Interhouse Netball
• Interhouse Soccer

The Interhouse Athletics, Interhouse Cross Country and Interhouse Gala are all compulsory events for the whole school. The remaining Interhouse events are for those learners who participate in the relevant sport and are supported by learners.

Every year, the Grade 6 and 7 learners vote for a House Captain and a Vice House Captain. They are responsible for the organising of war cries and spirit of their houses on the day of each event.
